The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, has been at the forefront of blood and marrow transplant (BMT) advances since performing the world's first successful BMT in 1968.
University of Minnesota physicians have performed more than 4,000 BMTs since then, using leading-edge technology which continues to be developed by U of M researchers.
