The BMT:FAQ is a resource which improves with your additions. If you have a question that is not answered here or by one of the references, please let us know. Information mentioned in this FAQ is for educational purposes only and does not imply endorsement. The information should not be used for diagnosing or treating health problems. Consult your health care provider for specific information. Every individual is different and the BMT Centers differ on their approach to treatment. 

This FAQ was developed at the suggestion of the BMT- Talk members. Many of the questions have come from the BMT-Talk list. 

NOTE: In this document, the term BMT is used to for any type of transplant involving stem cells, regardless of their source.
